July 15, 2022 is the next 3rd Friday in Downtown Salisbury with artists and crafters lining the streets, live music outside and loads of special activities. This month’s theme is Water World – complete with wacky water misters, water balloons, and a Fishmobile. There’s always lots of cool things to do at 3rd Friday from art shows to live entertainment – so head Downtown for a night out!


3rd Friday will be keeping things cool this 3rd Friday -Water World with a kid-friendly splash zone on Main Street complete with wacky water misters, and water balloons. Kids can learn more about the water around us by stopping in the Phillips Wharf Environmental Center Fishmobile. The Fishmobile is a traveling aquarium equipped with 13 tanks and 2 touch tanks, all of which feature live animals that live in and around the Chesapeake Bay including blue crabs, painted turtles, oyster toadfish, American eels, seahorses and flounder.

On the N. Division Street Stage, the Triple Vision Band will take the stage with upbeat groove, strong vocals and crowd-pleasing variety from the 70’s through the present. Triple Vision Band is sure to put everyone in the mood for more musical fun at Movies on the River, held just after 3rd Fridays at Riverwalk Amphitheater. This month’s movie is Sing 2 with a showtime at 8:45 p.m. just don’t forget to bring your own chairs, blankets and popcorn!

On Main Street, be sure to stop in Salisbury Art Space for its 2022 Members Exhibition featuring the best-of works of Salisbury Art Space members. Open to all themes and all media, the Members Exhibition shines a spotlight on some of area’s brightest talents. Winners have been awarded, and the show will be on display through the end of July. Salisbury Art Space will also be hosting pottery wheel demonstrations on the Plaza and kids art activities in the classroom.

Lilac Clothing Company is also ready for 3rd Friday this month, with beach towels and summer accessories at 50% off and rubber duck coupon pond with additional savings from 10 – 50% off to help shoppers stay cool and look amazing. Stop by Blackwater Apothecary from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a meet and greet with local author and storyteller Andy Nunez - author of Mysteries of the Eastern Shore, Ghosts of the Eastern Shore, and many others.

Looking for live entertainment this 3rd Friday? Brew River is hosting not one but two bands this 3rd Friday with The Salt Life Band from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Dock Bar and Best Kept Soul from 8 p.m. to midnight inside. Revival is hosting the “Drag Queens of Comedy” hosted by Magnolia Applebottom at 8 p.m. with tickets on sale for $12, ages 18 and up.


Salisbury B_PAC Bicycle Advisory Committee will be offering free Bike Valet services this 3rd Friday from 5p.m. to 8 p.m.

3rd Friday in Downtown Salisbury | June 17, 2022


Salisbury, MD: June 17, 2022 is the next 3rd Friday in Downtown Salisbury, with artists and crafters lining the streets, live music outside and loads of special activities. This month’s theme is Paw Prints, a fan-favorite theme that encourages bringing well-behaved pets along for a night out Downtown. There will be activities for pets and humans this 3rd Friday – so grab a leash, and get ready for a night of fur and fun!


The annual tradition of “bring-your-dog” to 3rd Friday is always a blast, but remember its not all for dogs – there will be representatives from Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue, Delmarva Cat Connection and various rescues with information about all sorts of animals up for adoption. Dog owners can test their pup’s skills out on the agility course on N. Division Street featuring a teeter totter, tubes and jumps.

The N. Division Street stage will feature live music from local up-and-coming rock stars Wavvy Gravy, rocking out with all your favorite songs you didn’t even realize you missed hearing. Also on N. Division Street, stop by the Public Art Brainstorm Display, and share your ideas and opinions about possible public art ideas for Salisbury. The City of Salisbury is currently working with a Public Art Master Plan Consultant Todd Bressi of Artful Places, who will be at 3rd Friday looking forward to chatting public art with the community.

Paw Prints coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Imagination Library on the Lower Shore and the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore has teamed up with the Wicomico Public Library and Pets on Wheels to celebrate. Pets and reading collide with opportunities for children to read to dogs, fun activities and a chance to sign up for Summer Reading and the Imagination Library. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a program that provides books each month to kids all over globe. On the Lower Shore, the program is available at no charge to kids ages five and under, and over the past 9 years the United Way has helped distribute over 319,000 books to 11,000 children in our community. Stop by to learn how you can sign up your child for the Imagination Library program or sponsor a child for only $26 a year.

On Main Street, Honest5 Dog Food and Treats will be offering free samples of their all-natural freshly-made and locally sourced dog treats to pups during 3rd Friday. Lilac Clothing Company is ready for 3rd Friday with an amazing summer collection in stock, a dog watering stations outside and 20% off purchase to anyone who brings in a donation to the Wicomico County Humane Society.

Art Lovers, check out Salisbury Art Space for an all-new exhibition featuring the best-of works of Salisbury Art Space members. Open to all themes and all media, the Members Exhibition shines a spotlight on some of area’s brightest talents. Exhibition winners will be judged by Salisbury University Professor and artist Jinchul Kim. Salisbury Art Space will also be hosting clay demos on the plaza, and kids crafts in the gallery.

For more art, stop by Salisbury University Art Galleries for the final days of Jinsoon Oh: Dreams of Being– showcasing a mix of ceramic works and paintings by the Salisbury-based artist and poet, with imaginative elements and a surreal approach that engage an audience in a way that poetry would. Jinsoon Oh: Dreams of Being will be on display at Salisbury University Art Galleries through June 18th, 2022.

Looking for fun after 3rd Friday, check out SBY's Movies on the River! The City will be hosting free outdoor movies after every 3rd Friday at Riverwalk Amphitheater through October. This months movie is Hairspray LIVE! (PG) with a 8:45 p.m. showtime. Feel free to get comfy and bring your own lawn chairs, blankies and snacks.

3rd Friday in Downtown Salisbury | May 20, 2022


May 20, 2022 is the next 3rd Friday in Downtown Salisbury, with artists and crafters lining the streets, live music outside and loads of special activities. This month’s theme is Wheels, with everything from pottery wheels and hula hoops to skateboards, bicycles and souped-up cars. Art and hobbies collide this 3rd Friday, so get ready for a night of art, entertainment and fun.


On Main Street, check out the 3rd Friday Car Show with our community’s coolest cars of all styles and varieties competing for prizes and one amazing trophy. The community can vote for their favorites live on-site, with the winner announced at 7:30 p.m. First place winner will take home a customized trophy and a gift card. Second and third place winners will receive a gift card to the Downtown Salisbury business of their choice.

3rd Friday coincides with National Bike to Work Day and the City of Salisbury is celebrating with prize giveaways and a complimentary bike valet at 3rd Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. hosted by Salisbury’s B-PAC - Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee. To enter to win cool prizes, just log your commute or your bike ride to 3rd Friday and submit a GPS tracked segment for a chance to win Downtown Salisbury swag and collectibles.

The Get Ramped Pop-Up Skate Park will be back on N. Division Street, open to all ages and skill levels, just bring your own helmet and legal guardian if you’re under 18 years old. The Get Ramped area will be bike & skateboard friendly, with experienced riders on-site ready to help novice riders take on ramps like the pros. Lurking Class Skate Shop will be hosting a second skate zone on Main Street for more advanced riders, see store for access wristbands.


Salisbury Art Space will be hosting the opening reception for the United Way’s Lower Shore Addiction Awareness Art Competition. This moving exhibition showcases student art entries from 6th grade to 12th grade students in Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties with opioid addiction awareness and recovery as the subject matter. Winners will be announced during the reception, and resource information will be available to help “break the wheel” of addiction in our community. Salisbury Art Space will also be hosting pottery wheel demos outside on Main Street.

Salisbury University Art Galleries will also be hosting an opening reception for the all new exhibition Jinsoon Oh: Dreams of Being” – showcasing a mix of ceramic works and paintings by the Salisbury-based artist and poet. Throughout her life, Jinsoon has drawn inspiration from the natural environment, and her artistic evolution into poetic narratives allowed her to discover a new language in painting. Her imaginative elements and surreal approach engage her audience in a way that poetry would. “Jinsoon Oh: Dreams of Being” will be on display at Salisbury University Art Galleries | Downtown through June 18th, 2022.

Looking for live entertainment? The Pete Bozick Variant will be keeping things funky fresh with live music outside on the N. Division Stage. Revival, Downtown’s newest performing arts venue, is hosting a Broadway Cabaret with some of the area’s finest talents performing all your musical favorites like Wicked, Shrek, and Frozen. Plus, check out Bigs Bingo on Main Street hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore for a chance to have fun, win big and support mentorship in our community.

The Mud Hud Clay Art Studio will also be hosting a Late 90’s and Early 2000’s Art Exhibition and Kareoke night – open to the public and sure to be a great time! Sing your heart out or just stop in to check out the art show. The Mud Hud will also be offering live pottery wheel demonstrations, discounts on Paint-Your-Own Pottery and hand building drop-ins, and face painting for the kids!
